Sienna Miller cosies up to Johnny Depp as they film Black Mass on the beach
ONLOOKERS could have mistaken Johnny Depp and Sienna Miller for being a real-life couple as they filmed scenes for their new movie in Massachusetts.
The Hollywood pair were pictured cosying up to one another on a sun lounger as filming for 'Black Mass' continued on the beach.
As the film is set in the 1970's, mother-of-one Sienna was sporting a rather dodgy-looking blonde mullet and showed off her slim figure in a purple V-neck swimsuit.
With a host of extras surrounding them, she lay back on 51-year-old Johnny as the cameras rolled and soaked up the sunshine.
The 'Edward Scissorhands' star was dressed in white, completing his look with a matching baseball cap and aviator sunglasses as he once again stepped into the shoes of convicted murderer and former organised crime figure Whitey Bulger.
Joining them on the beach was Joel Edgerton and Jesse Plemons - who was also seen with a few cocktails in his hand as he smoked a cigar.
Sienna, 32, is playing the role of Catherine Greig - who was Whitey Bulger's real-life girlfriend.
It's believed that this is the first time that Sienna has been seen on set, whereas Johnny has been shooting the movie for well over a month now.
'Black Mass' is written and directed by Scott Cooper and is based on the 2001 book 'Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob' written by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill.
British star Benedict Cumberbatch plays Massachusetts State Senator Billy ‘The Corrupt Midget’, who stood by his mob boss older brother.
Speaking to Collider about the role recently, Depp said: "The reason to play him is obvious to me. He's a fascinating character.
"It's not like anything I've done before, on that level. I'm very excited to slide into that skin for a little bit."
The film, which is set for release in October 2015, also stars Juno Temple, Kevin Bacon and Dakota Johnson.
