'Hardest skate off ever' Zaraah Abrahams is voted off Dancing On Ice
WATERLOO Road actress Zaraah Abrahams was voted off Dancing On Ice last night, in what was called "one of the hardest skate-offs ever."
The star - who has wowed both the audience and judges with her skills on the ice - ended up losing out on her place in the final after competing in a skate-off with rugby star Kyran Bracken.
"It has been wonderful and i am so sorry to say goodbye to everybody," she said after the judges sent her home.
"Andy is wonderful and thank you to everyone so, so much."
The actress joined her partner Andrew Buchanan as they skated to Madonna's rendition of Don't Cry For Me Argentina, which ended with the pair embracing at the end in an emotional moment.
Kyran and dance partner Nina Ulanova showed off their skills to Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars, which included plenty of impressive acrobats from Nina.
"This is possibly one of the hardest skate-offs we have ever had. I don't know how the judges are going to call this," said host Phillip Schofield before the judges ended up sending Zaraah home.
Head judge Robin said: "You both delivered something new and I would love to save you both but I save Kyran which means Zaraah is out of the competition."
However, show mentor Christopher Dean pointed out that Zaraah's Evita routine was "the best performance I have seen her do."
Week four of ITV's Dancing On Ice saw actor/singer Ray Quinn and skate partner Maria Filippov score a perfect 40 from the judges with their passionate flamenco routine.
"We have got the best of the best now and Ray got all of the best scores," co-mentor Jayne Torvill said of Ray and Maria's routine.
Next week is "star vs star in a winner takes all battle on the ice" which will air on Sunday night from 6:15pm on ITV.
