A STUNNING eclipse will be witnessed around the world this weekend - but what time will the Super Blood Wolf Moon be visible in Brazil?
Blood Moon: Time-lapse shows progression of eclipse
Lunar fans are in for a treat as the last total eclipse of this decade lights up our skies. The Super Blood Wolf Moon will be visible across South America, plus the United States, parts of Europe and western Africa. The spectacular display will see the moon turn a deep crimson red hence the name "blood moon". It also is a supermoon, when the full moon appears bigger and brighter than usual.
Another total lunar eclipse will not be seen until May 26, 2021.

This weekend’s eclipse starts at 12.36am on Monday, January 21.
The penumbral eclipse begins at this moment when the Earth’s penumbra touches the moon’s face.
After this comes the start of the partial eclipse at 1.33am.
Totality does not arrive until 2.41am while the maximum eclipse is at 3.12am before the full blood moon ends at 3.43am.
The final stage of the eclipse ends at 5.48am.
What are weather conditions like?
While much of South America will have clear skies, the weather is looking pretty mixed in Brazil, according to Accuweather.
The north has poor visibility but large areas of central and southern Brazil have fair conditions.
The best conditions lie eastwards where Brazilia and Belo Horizonte lie.
Accuweather said: “Less-than-ideal viewing is expected in and around São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, where clouds can ruin the show.
“Showers and thunderstorms that erupt around São Paulo during the afternoon of Sunday will be dissipating in the evening.
Poor viewing is expected from northern and western Brazil to Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and southern Colombia due to mostly cloudy skies and the risk for rainfall.”
But do not worry if you live in an area clouded over on the night, a livestream of the eclipse will be available to watch online.
Coverage starts at 1am BRST.
