Royal Family RECAP: Expert's brutal verdict on why William can't fix feud with Harry
An expert claims Meghan Markle is said to be a major factor in the ongoing feud between the two brothers.
Prince Harry and King Charles' feud explained
Prince William's "mistrust of Meghan Markle" is a "major reason" why William won’t engage with his brother, Prince Harry, a leading expert has claimed. It has been five years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit as senior working royals and moved to Montecito, California, to live with their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Speaking to Fox News, leading royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that "a mistrust of Meghan" is "a major reason" why William won’t engage with his brother, but only one of many.
He also claimed Prince William feels Harry has betrayed the Royal Family: "Given… the personal attacks on him in the memoir 'Spare,' reconciliation is likely to be a tough call with the [Prince of Wales]." The royal expert further warned, "There are some things which are not forgotten."
Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare, was released in January 2023, and included major moments of Prince Harry's life and relationship with the firm. According to Guinness World Records, Spare became "the fastest selling non-fiction book of all time" on the date of its release.
Mr Fitzwilliams added: "Of course, reconciliation is desirable and being in exile, which Harry is, is often very sad… The last time the brothers were together, at the memorial service for Lord Fellowes last August, they reportedly didn’t speak. I doubt much has changed."

Prince Harry issued warning to win one thing from King Charles
Prince Harry has been sent a warning on how he could attempt to rebuild his relationship with King Charles. According to a PR expert, the 40-year-old needs to avoid "more ugliness" - especially when it comes to his bombshell interviews.
This comes after members from both the King and Harry's teams were photographed having a discreet meeting at a private members' club back in July. The aim of the meeting was to build a closer working relationship between the two teams.
Speaking of what Harry could do to help rebuild the relationship with his father, Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, told Newsweek: "I do think there is a path because I think Harry does want it."

The one colour Princess Kate is banned from wearing due to strict royal rule
Princess Kate has become a global fashion icon, dazzling crowds in everything from elegant gowns to chic daywear. Yet despite her seemingly endless wardrobe choices, there is one shade she avoids at all costs – beige.
The Princess of Wales, 43, is said to have taken inspiration from the late Queen Elizabeth II, who famously championed bold colour-blocking. The monarch often stepped out in striking reds, regal blues and soft pastels designed to flatter and command attention at royal engagements.
Queen Elizabeth deliberately chose vivid hues so she could always be spotted in a crowd.

However, I've read the script and I really respond to this other role and I'd like to audition for that."

Princess Kate ‘grimaced’ after tense Meghan Markle moment

Prince Harry slammed by royal expert for stunt 'aimed at upstaging Kate and Will'
Prince Harry was blasted for his "PR stunt” on VJ Day, with one royal expert accusing him of trying to “upstage” Prince William and Princess Kate. The King led the royals as the nation commemorated the 80th anniversary of VJ Day last Friday during the national service or remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum.
The Prince and Princess of Wales did not attend the ceremony, while the Duke of Sussex left a wreath and a note at the Burma Star Memorial. Harry paid a poignant tribute to his late grandfather, Prince Philip, in the letter, which was placed after Charles and Camilla left to avoid distracting from the service.
But a group of royal commentators blasted him for the move, dubbing it an “obvious PR stunt”.
