Princess Beatrice’s husband has set the record straight on where the family live in a rare interview. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 41, married Prince Andrew’s oldest daughter five years ago in a small ceremony in Windsor.

Since then, Edoardo and Beatrice have lived a fairly private life, welcoming their two daughters Sienna, three, and Athena, who is just a few months old, into the world. While Princess Beatrice may not be a working royal, members of the public are still very much intrigued about the details of her life, including where she lives.

While many believe the royal lives mainly in the Cotswolds after the couple brought a farmhouse there in 2021, Edoardo has set the record straight.

Edoardo, who has his own property development and interior design company called Banda, spoke to The Times about a six-floor, 10,000 sq ft townhouse he designed in Belgravia.

When talking about the home, Edoardo revealed that he saw the site of the property often as he walked Sienna to school from the couple’s grace-and-favour apartment in St James’s Palace, London.

This confirms that the family still live in the London Palace apartment, which Beatrice has called home since before her wedding, at least part-time.

However, while they may call the apartment home during term-time, it is believed they spend the rest of their time in the Cotswolds, where they can enjoy the countryside at its finest.

Although it may seem unusual for a non-working royal to have more than one home, the case is the same for Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie and her family.

This is because Eugenie, who is also not a working royal, reportedly splits her time between Portugal, where the family live for her husband Jack Brooksbank’s work, and a cottage on the Kensington Palace estate.

Both princesses tend to give very little information away about their home lives, with Eugenie, 35, sometimes giving royal fans a rare insight of her life on Instagram.
