King Charles is set for a surprise after he has had a portrait of himself painted by a robot.

The monarch, 76, can be seen smiling in the piece of artwork, which has been created by the world’s first ultra-realistic robot Ai-Da Robot.

The robot has become the world’s first to paint a portrait of His Majesty, which was unveiled at the UK Mission to the WTO and United Nations in Geneva, which was part of the 2025 AI for Good Summit hosted by the UN in Geneva.

Another new photograph of Queen Camilla has been released by Buckingham Palace today to mark her 78th birthday. Just hours after a picture of Her Majesty leaning on a garden gate at her home in Wiltshire was released, the Royal Family's official Instagram account released a new photo of Camilla reading The Grey Wolf by Louise Penny.

The photograph is believed to have been taken in the garden of The Queen's Ray Mill home, where she is believed to spend her quiet time away from royal duty. The Royal Family Instagram account captioned the photograph: "Thank you for the wonderful well wishes on Her Majesty’s 78th birthday today!"
