Meghan Markle's latest claims about the struggles of everyday life in her new episode of her podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder, did not go down well with fans, who had one thing to say about the Duchess. The Duchess of Sussex welcomed FIGS' Heather Hasson on the sixth episode of her podcast, which aired on Tuesday.
Ms Hasson set up the billion-dollar firm FIGS, which sells stylish medical scrubs. During the episode, Meghan said the best entrepreneurs are "not afraid to get their hands dirty" and spoke about the need to get "messy" and the pressures of starting her business, As Ever. Describing her busy life establishing her own company, Meghan said: "As I've been building As Ever, oh let me tell you, it is just a constant state of recalibration.

"There's joy in that but we are always in motion. If you're a founder yourself, you know exactly what I mean, because we're moving at work speed, problem solving, filling gaps in real time, scratching a million tiny, tiny things off of your to do list, but not in that fun way like a lotto ticket."
But she also made a confession regarding her everyday family life, saying that she does not have time to cook each day and when that is the case, she opts to make takeaways look "beautiful".
She told Ms Hasson: "I see vegetables and I see takeout because I don't have time to cook every day.
"And I go, all right, but how do I still make this flattering and beautiful and present well, and something that people... find appetising?"
In her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess also demonstrated how to plate up Chinese takeaway food "beautifully" as well as making spaghetti, honey cake and salt-baked fish.
But Meghan's comments about her busy everyday life were criticised by various fans online.

One user wrote on X: "She doesn’t have time to cook, doesn’t have time to do school runs, doesn’t have time to restock her As Ever products, yet she’s ‘always working so hard?’ At what?"
Another one added: "Pfft I wish I had to “work” as hard as she does … come swap jobs me."
A third one said: "Yeah I often sprinkle dried flowers or mint leaves on my takeaway curry when I've had a rough week. It's the little things."
A fourth one commented: "I did laugh at that comment, currently Mums everywhere are doing it all whilst juggling work/life balance but definitely not moaning about it."
A fifth one wrote: "No time to cook. Buys take out. Has time to “elevate” them and make them beautiful. No words."
A sixth one asked: "Since when do kids care about how their takeaway looks like?"
Others praised the episode and Meghan's discussion with Ms Hasson, with one fan commenting: "Wonderful, inspiring discussion with @heatherhasson and Duchess Meghan on #ConfessionsOfAFemaleFounder."
A second one said: "I enjoyed this, I love intelligent conversation where people have interesting topics and points of view. Meghan is fiercely intelligent and articulate. Her guest the same. Love these podcasts."
A third one added: "It was very enlightening."
