Meghan Markle dons Ralph Lauren designer dress – recreate her look from just £49
Meghan Markle sported a chic designer dress worth £1,800 on her Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan'. Check out our alternatives to get her look for less.

While Meghan Markle's new Netflix series ‘With Love Meghan’ may have divided critics, her outfits have had a more positive reception. One designer dress in particular caught our eye.
The 43-year-old was spotted wearing a Ralph Lauren dress during episode eight, where she was hosting a brunch for her family and friends. Royal fashion fan instagram account @meghansclosetchronicles identified the Graison shirt dress, made from breezy linen-voile and adorned with subtle pale blue flowers.
The luxurious design originally retailed at $2,290 (approximately £1,800) and was part of its premium Ralph Lauren Collection
While the Graison dress is no longer available, we've found some more affordable alternatives, both shirt dresses and floaty floral frocks.

For a neutral classic shirt dress, this one from the brand's more affordable Lauren range is a good bet. With the chest pockets, it's a more casual look and it is plain white rather than patterned, but arguably that makes it a more useful wardrobe staple.

If it's an easy-to-wear floral dress you're after, try this green-pattered option from M&S. The flattering cut means it gives the effect of cinching you in at the waist, with no belt needed. It's ideal for anyone who prefers longers sleeves too.

If you want something floatier and more relaxed but are still after something with a pretty flower print, try this floral dress from Next's new collection. The tiered skirt with lace details gives it a boho look that we think wouldn't look out of place in Montecito.

The Scottie design by Nobody’s Child – a brand worn by the royals including Queen Camilla – is another purse-friendly alternative. The blue floral print gives a nod to Meghan's look and the relaxed skirt that skims the body and tie waist make it a flattering fit. The puff sleeves are nice for summer, too.

If you like your hemlines shorter, this mini dress from Australian brand Forever New is another excellent option – and comes in a petite length designed for ladies 5"3 and under. It has a subtle blush pink floral pattern and buttons down to the waist. It comes with the matching belt but you could also swap it out for a brown one like Meghan's. There is also a midi version.
