It is well-documented that Prince William has experienced a fractured relationship with his brother Prince Harry for some time now, however not many know that he also has a frosty relationship with a step sibling too.

While the future King, 42, rarely comments on family matters, it has been reported that the Prince of Wales was not always best pleased after Camilla and King Charles pursued their relationship after Princess Diana’s death.

When the King and Queen wed in 2005, Prince William and Prince Harry not only had a new stepmother but also two new step siblings from Camilla’s first marriage - Laura Lopes, 46, and Tom Parker Bowles, 49.

Although Laura was seen laughing with William and Harry at the 2005 wedding, it seems that the relationship between Laura and William was not always smooth sailing.

As reported by The Sun, in Katie Nicholl’s 2010 book Harry and William, she wrote: “William and Laura used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes.

“William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she had caused his mother [Princess Diana], which would send Laura into a rage.

“Laura was not having any of it. She would take a hard line and fire back at William, ‘Your father has ruined my life.’”

The step siblings are rarely seen in public together, with Laura busy as an established art curator and Tom working as a food critic and author.

However, with Prince William expected to reunite with both his step siblings at Sandringham in just two days time for Christmas, it is believed these sibling rifts are a thing of the past.

Although both Queen Camilla’s children are set to be at the Christmas celebrations this year with the Royal Family, the same cannot be said for the King, with his youngest son Prince Harry set to stay in his Californian home for the big day.

Since quitting life as a senior royal in 2020, Harry has been living across the pond with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

It has been reported that the family did not receive an invite to Sandringham this year.

It marks Harry’s sixth Christmas away from his Royal Family relatives.
