Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and baby Archie Harrison have arrived in Africa for a 10-day tour. They landed in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday morning and attended their first engagement in the afternoon. Here’s what the Sussexes will get up to today as they embark on their first official trip as a family.
What will Meghan and Prince Harry do today?
While it is not confirmed how many of their royal engagements baby Archie will attend alongside his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a packed schedule.
They will spend the first couple of days together in South Africa before Prince Harry flies solo to Botswana, Angola and Malawi.

Today, the couple will head to Monwabisi Beach, near Cape Town’s Khayelitsha township.
Here, they’ll spend time with the Waves for Change programme, an award-winning surf therapy NGO working with young and vulnerable people.
They’ll also visit the Lunchbox Fund, which provides meals to schools across underprivileged areas in the region.
Royal Tour LIVE: Meghan Markle, Harry & Archie arrive in South Africa
The Duke will head to Cape Town’s famous Seal Island to learn about the efforts to combat the poaching of abalone.
In the afternoon, Meghan and Harry will visit the Cape Town’s heritage site of the Bo-Kaap, a region of cultural diversity, before finally attend a reception at the British High Commissioner’s residence.
While it is not confirmed how much little Archie will join his parents on their visits, a royal commentator has claimed it is time Meghan and Harry introduced him properly to the public.
Editor in chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward said:“From a public relations point of view the Duke and Duchess really do need to show the people Archie.
“He is the best ticket they have got for getting people to re-fall in love with them.”
She added: “People are very susceptible to images of children.
“I don’t see the point of hauling him all the way there only to keep him under wraps.”
Meghan Markle will remain is SA where she will carry out a whole host of her own engagements.
The family will finally reunite in Johannesburg for the final two days of the tour.
