THERESA May wasted no time in showing off a silver Celtic-inspired ring that she bought in Wales on Saturday.

Just 24 hours later she wore it to a Palm Sunday service at St Mary’s Church in Dolgellau yesterday.
The Prime Minister had visited Celf Aran Arts centre in the north Wales town as part of a walking holiday with her husband, Philip.
Along with two rings by local jeweller Anna Hicks, of Celtic Treasure, she bought a slate coaster set by Mat Fletcher.

Mr Fletcher, aged 38, of Trawsfynydd, said: “I was gobsmacked. I started to fumble with the keys for the display case, where the rings were kept.
"She laughed and was very jovial. I wished her a good day.
“I just hope those coasters were for No. 10.”
Mother-of-two Mrs Hicks said she thought it was “a wind-up” when she heard about her famous customer but added: “It’s hugely exciting.”
Mrs May pledged to return to Wales for a walking holiday after triggering Article 50 as she has not visited either Snowdonia or the Brecon Beacons for “some years.”
She previously added: “Walking in Wales is an opportunity to get out and about and see scenery and clear your mind and your thinking.
“We stay in a hotel and try to walk every day. Walking is about relaxing, getting exercise and fresh air.”
