FARAGE RETURNS? Ex Ukip leader reveals he would stand in South Thanet again
NIGEL Farage has hinted at a return to frontline politics by saying he could stand again for Parliament again.
Farage would "probably" run in South Thanet by-election
The ex Ukip leader said he would "probably" put himself forward if a fraud probe triggers a by-election in South Thanet.
He failed to win the Kent seat at the 2015 general election, being narrowly beaten by Conservative candidate Craig Mackinlay.
But police are investigating whether the Tories broke the law by failing to properly declare expenses related to the campaign.
Winning seats is not the only way to change things in Britain
Asked whether he would stand in a potential by-election, Mr Farage said: "I probably would."
The outspoken MEP and Brexit campaigner has unsuccessfully stood for Parliament seven times since 1994.
But he insisted: "Winning seats in Parliament under a first-past-the-post system is not the only way to change things in Britain."

Appearing on BBC show Sunday Politics, he also hit out at Tory MP Anna Soubry, who was an ardent Remain supporter.
He branded Mrs Soubry's views on world trade and the single market "out of date".
Mr Farage told host Andrew Neil: "We're leaving the European Union and rejoining a great big world out there – it's terribly exciting."
