Left-wing Labour supporters red-faced after #ImHardLeft hashtag hilariously hijacked
A LEFT-WING Twitter hashtag set up in support of Jeremy Corbyn's Labour leadership campaign has been ferociously lampooned by online critics.
The hastag is thought to have been inspired by the policies of Mr Corbyn
The #ImHardLeft tag was initially set up by people wishing to rail against the injustices in society.
It is thought to have been inspired by the ultra left-wing policies of Mr Corbyn, who has emerged as a surprise front-runner for the Labour leadership. Initially Twitter users took the hashtag seriously.
RAF veteran Harry Leslie Smith wrote: "#ImHardLeft because I believe everyone is entitled to a real living wage not Osborne's salary for serfs."
Trade Unionist Clare Hepworth OBE added: "#ImHardLeft Because wealth DOESN'T trickle down. It migrates OFF SHORE."

#ImHardLeft because I hope for a compassionate society and don’t believe poor & disabled people should shoulder the burden of austerity

However, the trend was quickly hijacked by other Twitter users to lampoon Mr Corbyn's left-wing policies.
The Islington North MP wants to see top earners pay a tax rate of well over 50%, much like the 75% rate which strangled France's economy before being quietly dropped by president Francois Hollande.
He is also in favour on uncontrolled mass immigration - he once said "we should let people into this country who are desperate to get somewhere safe to live" - and wants to scrap the royal family.

#ImHardLeft because I long to see the British people enjoy the same freedom and fairness that they take for granted in Cuba and Venezuela.

#ImHardLeft because I won't be happy until our infrastructure is third-world & everyone cycles to the State turnip shop, wearing a Mao suit.

Twitter user Rich mocked socialists who still buy big name brands, writing:" #ImHardLeft because I hate corporations! Sent from my iPhone...Using Starbucks' free WiFi...Provided by BT…"
Lewis Potter tweeted: "Beacuse I want to spend other peoples money. Then ask for more when I have ran out. #ImHardLeft"
Paul Davison added: "#ImHardLeft because I want to ruin society and make everybody pay in the process."
Lord George Smiley posted a picture of the Berlin Wall, musing: "#ImHardLeft because Socialism is so good you need to build walls to stop people leaving."
#ImHardLeft because everyone knows the best way to reduce poverty is to incentivize people to stay in it, and punish those that want out.

Panic has been mounting in the Labour ranks in recent days after a shock poll of Labour members showed that Mr Corbyn is the overwhelming favourite to become the party's next leader.
The backbench MP, who has admitted that the founder of communism Karl Marx is his political hero, has advocated policies well to the left of those of previous leader Ed Miliband.
In an extraordinary intervention Tony Blair warned any Labour members voting for the left-wing frontrunner with their hearts needed to get a "transplant".
His remarks drew furious criticism from Corbyn supporters including his one-time second-in-command John Prescott, who said they were "totally unacceptable".
Moderate Labour figures fear that if Mr Corbyn wins the leadership contest the party could be headed for electoral "oblivion" that would lock it out of power for a generation.
They have also raised fears that the internal election process is being abused, with thousands of communists and far-left figures reportedly joining the party so that they are entitled to vote.
