'Embarrassing!' Tory voter on Question Time slams ‘horrendous’ mini-budget timing
BBC Question Time viewers are concerned that the Conservative panellist on tonight's show will be stuck trying to "defend the indefensible".
An audience member lambasted the “horrendous” timing of the mini-budget.
He told the panel in Manchester: “I’m a conservative voter. It does become a little bit embarrassing to be honest.
“We seem to go from one disaster to the next.”

An woman in the audience said that the insurer of the flat she lives in has asked for a quarter of a million pounds by the end of the month.

A woman in the audience said that she thought she couldn't afford to get a mortage folowing the reactions of lenders to the mini statement last Friday.
