Boris Johnson arrived at the Conservative Party Conference on Sunday, arm-in-arm with his girlfriend, Carrie Symonds. In such trying political times, many are keen to hear what plans the Prime Minister may unveil during his keynote speech later this week. So what time is Boris Johnson’s keynote speech on Wednesday? And how can you watch it live?
This keynote speech is something Mr Johnson has been “working on for a while" - and advisors say he is taking it with an “expected degree of seriousness”.
Boris Johnson reportedly takes to writing his own speeches, unlike his predecessors, although it is thought a number of advisers will also be helping the PM with his address.
In his recent address to the UN, Mr Johnson surprised listeners with some of his rhetoric.

A few snippets of the speech included: “your mattress will monitor your nightmares, your fridge will beep for more cheese”, and the future may include “terrifying limbless chickens”.
Speaking slots had been reserved for some Cabinet ministers, including Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, Home Secretary Priti Patel and Chancellor, Sajid Javid.

The Prime Minister’s keynote speech is expected to close the Conservative Party conference this year.
The keynote address will take place on the morning of Wednesday, October 1 at 11.30am.
This will be Boris Johnson’s first keynote speech as PM, and indeed his first Tory Conference as party leader.
