BORIS JOHNSON and Jeremy Hunt will go head to head in the battle for Tory Leadership after Michael Gove was knocked out yesterday. Here’s when the final vote will be and who looks most likely to win.

Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt are the final two runners in the Tory leadership race. Michael Gove was knocked out in the penultimate ballot yesterday and Boris and Jeremy will spend the next weeks rallying support from Tory members in 16 hustings across the UK ahead of the final vote.
Up until this point, only Tory MPs have had a say in who they want to lead them next, but the final vote will be put to the wider Conservative Party membership.
Who gets to vote for the next Tory leader?
The final Tory leadership vote will take a different format to the previous ballots.

It won’t just be Tory MPs taking part but the Conservative Party’s 160,000 members will be able to vote for the next Tory boss too.
Conservative Party members will receive a postal ballot paper in July and will have to cast their votes before July 22.
The candidate who wins more than 50 per cent of the vote among Party members will be declared Leader of the Party.
Theresa May’s resignation means whoever the Tory leadership battle will become Britain’s next Prime Minister by default.
When will the final vote be?
The results of the final vote will be announced on July 22.
Between now and then Boris and Hunt will rally support from Conservative Party members with a series of hustings around the UK.
Conservative Party members will receive their postal ballots between July 6 to July 8.
The final voting deadline will fall in the week ending July 21.

July 11 (evening): South East
July 12 (evening): Gloucestershire
July 13 (morning): East Anglia
July 13 (afternoon): Eastern
July 17 (evening): London
Who will win?
Boris Johnson has been pitted as the favourite throughout the Tory leadership battle.
The former Foreign Secretary’s team has been accused of skulduggery after Michael Gove lost out on votes yesterday.
There were rumours of tactical voting from Boris backers keen to prevent Mr Gove from being the one to face him in the final vote.
Boris remains the hot favourite to win the leadership race.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes have Boris at 1/14 to win while Hunt is at 8/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Johnson for PM has never looked more likely as far as we’re concerned and it’s now just a matter of when, not if, he replaces Theresa May as the Conservative Party leader.”
