Brexit BETRAYAL: The 14 who could spark Cabinet WALK OUT as May agrees to meet Corbyn
THERESA MAY is facing an angry crowd of MPs frustrated with her handling of Brexit after she agreed to meet Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. These are the 14 members of Mrs May’s own party who could walk out amid the crisis.
PMQs: We need to deliver on Brexit says Theresa May
Brexit progress is currently stalled in Parliament, as MPs have failed to find a suitable alternative to Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement, and the Prime Minister has been unable to pass her third proposal. She has been working to form a dialogue between the government and the opposition and has agreed to meet with Jeremy Corbyn. However, as she prepares to do so, she is facing a number of possible resignations. Nigel Adams today resigned as Tory secretary for Wales, decrying her “legitimisation” of Jeremy Corbyn by agreeing to bilateral talks, and more people may follow.
Theresa May and her Cabinet were involved in marathon nine-hour long talks yesterday in a bid to break the current Brexit deadlock.
While MPs met in Downing Street, tempers were running high, as according to government sources 14 MPs spoke out against the Prime Minister’s proposals.
The list of names was leaked when Mrs May delivered her statement yesterday after MPs were given their phones back following talks.
According to this list, a number of core allies to Theresa May clashed with her at Number 10.

Following widespread reporting on the rebellion, the Government has responded to dispute these claims.
Energy Minister Claire Perry and No 10’s own Director of Communications Robbie Gibb both responded.
Ms Perry tweeted: “There were only FOUR cabinet members who spoke explicitly in favour of no extension and No Deal”.
Mr Gibb simply said the claims were “not true”.
Mrs May noted the heated attitudes on all sides of the argument in the conclusion of her speech following the lengthy meeting.
