The Snowdrop Grove at Painswick Rococo Gardens in Painswick is in full bloom
The Snowdrop Grove at Painswick Rococo Gardens in Painswick, Gloucestershire, is now in full bloom, with the millions of snowdrops blanketing just over two acres of land.
The four resident Cherry Valley ducks, named Marshmallow, Waddles, Charlene and Cedric Duckery, take a walk through the white flowers every day, on their way to the ponds to clear the weeds.
15 different known varieties of snowdrops grow at the gardens, including the famous, distinctively tall Galanthus Atkinsii.
The flowers will remain in bloom throughout February, with Rococo Gardens expecting their busiest week during school half-term, February 10-18.
The blooming of our snowdrops is one of the county's most anticipated natural events, and we're thrilled that they're looking as good as ever this year
However, Garden Director Dominic Hamilton has advised to come and see the spectacle as soon as possible as they only bloom for two weeks.
He said: "The blooming of our snowdrops is one of the county's most anticipated natural events, and we're thrilled that they're looking as good as ever this year.
"There will be plenty to delight every visitor, whether or not they've been before.
"But don't delay - they'll only be blooming for a couple of weeks."
