The fascinating pictures were taken at The Scottish Owl Centre in West Lothian.
They show a four-week-old American Barn Owl, six-week Long Eared Owl, five-week Ural Owl, three-week Pharaoh Owl and five-week-old Tawny Owl.
Within the next couple of weeks, all of these owls will leave their home to take up a crucial role as owl ambassadors across Scotland.

There's no such thing as a tame owl
They will go to centres and schools where they will be used for educational purposes to teach people about the various breeds.
Although the pictures show the owls looking cute and tame, a spokeswoman for the Owl Centre insists that tame owls are rare and that it took a lot of coaxing to persuade them to settle for photos.
She said: "They're definitely not always well behaved. It takes a lot of work to get them to sit nicely for photographs.

"Some will be more receptive because they realise that humans are the ones who will be feeding them, so they'll sit a bit quicker.
"But there's definitely no such thing as a tame owl."
