The fresh-faced mum has been receiving tons of support from around the world but the thrills of labour have taken their toll.
On Sunday April’s vet was checking in on the mother only to receive a not very warm greeting from the giraffe.
The protective mother was being given some treats from the vet, when she launched her front leg to show that she was done with him.
Luckily the vet avoided any serious injury and was quickly on his way out, but not before April gave him another nudge.
April the giraffe kicked her vet live on the YouTube live stream - again
The cranky mum first kicked her vet in March when she signalled she wanted to be left alone.
April’s zookeepers wrote in a Facebook update: “Yesterday many of you noticed the 'giraffe cha-cha' where April was trying to step on the toes of our vet, and more or less she was telling him she was done with his advances.
“Later on that led to just a small little kick with the front leg but don’t worry, the vet was not struck, he was totally fine.”
A giraffe’s first line of defence in the wild is to kick at whatever may be endangering it, but in April’s case it was sign of “control”.

The incident repeated itself at the end of March when April once again got fed up with the constant attention.

“April's attitude is good, though she did strike at (and miss) the vet again - we just think she was giving him a hoof (hand) out the door,” the zoo said.
After a very long wait April finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Saturday April 15 to the shock and joy of the entire world.
The petting zoo in Harpursville, upstate New York, where April resides began live streaming the giraffe back in February this year and she has since become a viral sensation.
Nearly one million people tuned-in to watch the birth live as it happened on YouTube.
Zoo owner Jordan Patch thanked all of April’s fans on Saturday: “There you have it guys, we have a baby. We’re gonna let mum and the baby do their thing for a little bit.
“Everything went absolutely perfect, couldn’t have planned it better. Perfect delivery, perfect fall”
He added: “Thanks for joining us on this journey. It’s not over yet, it’s just the begging.”

After a full vet check up yesterday, the healthy baby which is yet to be named, weighed in at 129 pounds and measured five foot nine.
The zoo is currently running a naming competition for the calf, giving fans the opportunity to name the baby boy.
The competition will run for a week before the top ten suggestions are chosen, and then fans will have a chance to pick the winner from those.
