Spider SHOCK as student finds huge TARANTULA under the toilet
A UNIVERSITY student had a nasty shock in a halls of residence bathroom - when he saw a TARANTULA under the toilet.
The terrifying spider took a Manchester student by surprise
Caius Tabberer was relieving himself when he saw the huge, hairy spider in the toilet - whose body was five centimetres long.
The tarantula - who has a Facebook account under the name Yolandi Lee Ven Sloan - had crawled from her owner's room to Caius' bathroom in a separate block of University of Manchester accommodation.
Mr Tabberer, 19, said: "I needed the toilet so I walked into the bathroom and saw a tarantula.

"It was crawling, trying to get under the loo. It wasn't really expected.
"I was scared - I think anyone who saw a spider of that size would be freaked out."
His flatmate screamed when he showed her his discovery.

Speaking to student newspaper The Tab, the first year History of Art student said: "We decided to call campus security and one of the guys said he'd looked after spiders before.
"He told us to go and get a damp sponge to rehydrate the tarantula. Then he put it in a Tupperware."
The tarantula's owner, Georgia, was tracked down after a video Mr Tabberer uploaded to Facebook was viewed more than 30,000 times.

She said: "This is my spider - I'm back in Belfast."
Mr Tabberer, from Dorset, added: "It turns out Georgia had gone home but her mum doesn't like the tarantula so she had to leave it in Manchester.
"She's still away so the security guard will probably look after it until she's back."
