Play fight! Adorable moment naughty lion tries to take a bite out of his sister's TAIL
A MISCHIEVOUS lion tried to take a bite out of his sister's tail in an aggressive play fight.
The hungry cub sneaked up on his sibling after she walked off, taking a snap at her from behind.
Surprisingly, the lioness "remained calm" - suggesting it is not the first time she has endured her greedy brother's behaviour.
Photographer David Jenkins captured the hilarious moment at Antelope Park in Zimbabwe, Africa.
Lion makes a 'tough' zookeeper regret his macho talk
The young male seemed to be a bit of a troublemaker and a bully, he was always picking on the poor female
The 44-year-old said: "The young male seemed to be a bit of a troublemaker and a bully, he was always picking on the poor female.
"Every time she tried to walk off, he would sneak up behind her and try and trip her or ambush her.
"She was very tolerant of him until finally she said enough and turned on him and they engaged in some pretty rough play fighting."
Mr Jenkins, from Dublin, Ireland, added: "The feisty female gave as good as she got.
"Then when she walked off, he sprinted after her and grabbed her tail.
"I thought it looked really painful at first, but looking back it was more gentle than it appeared.
"The lioness was quite calm about it and seemed to accept it - I guess it's not the first time she has had to put up with this!"
