Who needs a kitten when you've got a Siberian tiger?
MOST children find a kitten too cute to resist but vet’s son Arseny Taturova prefers to play with Siberian tiger cub Sherkhan.

The rare animal has been cared for by Arseny’s mother Vasilina at Primorye safari park in Russia after it was abandoned by its mother.
The 20lb cub was snapped playing with the youngster and pet ferret Rokki in Shkotovo close to the border with North Korea.
Sadly the pair’s close bond may be broken because the two-month-old tiger will soon be sent back to the safari park, as it grows in strength.
The cub’s father Amur became a star in his own right in Russia after he befriended a goat zookeepers had given him to hunt, kill and eat.

Siberian tigers are severely endangered with only 500 adults in the wild.
The species, also known as the Amur tiger, is native to eastern Russia but is under threat of extinction due to poaching and loss of habitat.
