Stephen Banks uses a special 'app' which tracks the positions of the stars and takes pictures of them.
He then lies back for hours at a time while his camera is busy snapping away, taking long exposure shots to build up the detail for the final image.

His photographs are inspired by the landscape of Dorset, where he lives, including Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
He explained: “I wanted to show Dorset’s landmarks in a completely different light.
The artist lies back for hours at a time while his camera is busy snapping away
“Nothing beats lying down and looking up at the stars while my camera takes the pictures.”
The 27-year-old who works as a PR executive in Bridport, Dorset, also produces a popular calendar using his images.
He added: “Dorset has such spectacular landscapes.
Mr Banks' photographs are inspired by the landscape of Dorset
"Dorset also has no cities or motorways, so the night skies here are very good across the majority of the county."
Mr Banks said he aims to travel further afield to take more photographs and is converting a camper van with the hope of travelling to the Brecon Beacons and the Scottish Highlands.
