Unfazed, the Lesser Spotted Fritillary butterfly prowls over the frog, climbing on his head and back.
The tree frog stays very still and barely seems to pay any attention to the big flying insect, which looks nearly half his size.

School teacher Mustafa Ozturk came across this unlikely encounter while on a university field trip in Mersin, Turkey.
The 46-year-old, from Mersin, Turkey, said: "I came across a tree frog which had a butterfly prowling around its head.
"The tree frog was sat on a branch which was resting in the bushes. He let the butterfly tour around his head without disturbing it.

"The whole encounter lasted about two minutes - the butterfly was very courageous and the Tree Frog did not hurt him."
He added: "It was very exciting and fun to take these photographs."
