Is there something in the water? Woman unwittingly swims just METRES away from FIVE sharks
THIS is the moment a woman was captured unwittingly surfing just metres away from FIVE sharks.
Images show just how close the shark was to the woman
The unknown woman was surfing off the coast of Cape Town while sharks circled around and beneath her board.
The surfer was seen sitting on her board with her feet dangling in the water and even fell off her board and into the water just metres from four Bronze Whaler sharks and a thresher shark.

The aerial images were captured by Jean Tresfon, who was flying his gyrocopter above Strandfontein Beach, Cape Town, when he spotted the surfer beneath him.
Mr Tresfon, 41, from Cape Town said he spotted around 25 sharks on his flight across the coast that day, and felt nervous for the surfer when he saw how close she came to the sharks.

He said: "On the first pass I saw five large sharks within a few hundred metres of the long boarder.
"As I watched several of the sharks passed within metres of the longboard, with one even swimming right underneath it.
The surfer seemed oblivious to the presence of the sharks
"The surfer seemed oblivious to the presence of the sharks even though it must have been pretty obvious that something was going on with me circling overhead for about 5 minutes.
"At one point she even fell into the water while one of the sharks was nearby.
"I was nervous for her sake as she spent a lot of time sitting on the board with her bare feet dangling in the water but the sharks were not interested in the slightest.
"Just goes to show that the sharks really are not interested in humans and in the clean water there was no problem with mistaken identity.

"I had planned to take images of the sharks at Muizenberg as they are always there in summer but being able to capture a surfer in the same shot was a bonus.
"Hopefully I will see and photograph this again, especially given the amount I fly around this area."
