In need of a helping paw? Red-faced leopard loses balance climbing tree
LEOPARDS are known for being graceful creatures - except if you are this adorable cub.
This adorable leopard looks like it's in need of a helping paw
This leopard looks like it's in need of a helping paw after it was spotted clinging onto the branches of a tree when it lost its balance.
The cub, which was seen in the greater Kruger Park area, South Africa, was accompanied by its mother as she swung from the trees, although mum seemed less than impressed at her progeny's head for heights.
The adorable seen was witnessed by Gareth James Legg, 37, from Dudan, South Africa, a full time ranger and field guide who was spotted the pair playing around in a dried up riverbed.
While the mother and her cub were chasing each other around, they eventually climbed into a large wisteria tree, when the cub lost its balance and - after clinging to the branch - fell onto the riverbed.
But the cub used only one of its nine lives after it picked itself up unscathed, if a little embarrassed, to scamper over to its mother again.

The cub was fine, if a bit embarrassed
Mr Legg said: "I was out on a tour when we saw a female and her cub playing a game in the riverbed, so we took a look - it was one of those moments that you could never have predicted.
"The little leopard cub was getting more and more adventurous when it started clambering along a branch of a wisteria tree.
"The branch began to bend under its weight and the next thing we knew, the leopard lost its balance and had to cling on to the tree.
The cub’s mother seemed less than impressed at her progeny's head for heights
"It tried in vain to regain its balance but eventually gravity prevailed and the cub called out to its unimpressed mother before falling to the ground.
"The cub was fine, if a bit embarrassed, and it went screaming back to its mother for some sympathy."
