STUNNED motorists look on as two hungry lions devoured an antelope on a tarmac road in these dramatic photos.
The dramatic attack was played out between tourists' cars
The amazing images, captured by a Briton working at Kruger National Park in South Africa, show the big cats jumping on the kudu after a chase through bushes.
Tourists - many gawping through the open windows of their cars - watch the macabre yet natural display of killing unfold.

Carolyn Dunford, 23 from Hampshire, who is at the park carrying out wildlife research, caught the action on her camera.
She said: "As a biologist, I understand the circle of life.
"For me it was really fascinating to watch a lion hunt. It's a privilege to see it happen and the power of the lions. It was amazing.

After the first lion grabs the kudu's back the second went for its throat.

The drama took place at early morning on the stretch of road at the busy national park which is 13,000sq miles.
The images are one of a number of incredible scenes from the South African park in recent months.
These include an elephant overturning a car with a couple inside, and a hippo carrying a family of turtles across a pond.
