Flipping crazy: Incredible moment seal turns the tide on Great White Shark
THIS plucky seal knew the way to avoid becoming the next meal for a great white shark.
It had just seen a fellow seal trapped in the jaws of the shark and decided the best plan of action was to tail the colossal killer and stay out of its reach.
When the action is over your heart is racing until you get to see what you’ve taken
Often seen in the wild, this survival tactic is used to outmanoeuvre and tire the predator into submission... making for a clean getaway.
The amazing pictures were taken by wildlife photographer, David Jenkins, 42, just off Seal Island, near Cape Town, South Africa. He said: “When the action is over your heart is racing until you get to see what you’ve taken.”
