PRINCESS CHARLOTTE is turning two on Tuesday, and following the release of her birthday portrait, the adorable yellow cardigan she was pictured in has sold out in minutes - but where is the toddler’s woollen number from, and why have people gone crazy for it?
Princess Charlotte's yellow cardigan sold out instantly
Her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, was behind the cute snapshot, which keeps in line with the trend that was set last year when a set of images to mark her first birthday were released.
This year’s picture shows the little royal wearing a yellow cardigan, adorned with images of sheep, and a navy hair clip in her hair.
But while Charlotte is undeniable cute in the picture, her cardigan is what’s got people talking.

The item of knitwear sold out instantly following the release of the portrait, and the reason why is for its incredible price.
The fairisle knitted cardigan is from high street retailer John Lewis.
It's already sold out on the store’s website, but there are similar items of bargain knitwear ready to be snapped up.
A similar pink version of the cardigan is available in size newborn, priced at just £10.

“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank everyone for all of the lovely messages they have received, and hope that everyone enjoys the photograph of Princess Charlotte as much as they do.”
Charlotte’s privacy has been carefully guarded by her parents and during the past year, she has only been seen in public on a handful of occasions.
Her most recent appearance was on Christmas Day when she attended a church service close to the home of her grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton in the Berkshire village of Bucklebury.
