Simpson style! The Clooney wedding gets a Springfield makeover
THE artist who immortalised Kate Middleton as one of the famous little yellow people, has now given Mrs Clooney the Simpsons treatment
It was one of the most talked about weddings of the year and since tying the knot top human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin has secured her status as a style icon.
But these pictures by an Italian illustrator show the elegant brunette as you've never seen her before.
Alexsandro Palombo has captured Mrs Clooney's stylish wedding wardrobe by immortalising her as a Simpson!
The contemporary artist, who also depicted Kate Middleton in her 50 most memorable outfits, celebrated the multi-lingual barrister's style with a collection of yellow-skinned portraits.
The series of bizarre images sees the leggy brunette in her best-known outfits from her wedding weekend in Venice.
As well as featuring her stunning bespoke Oscar de la Renta wedding dress, the images capture her in a heady mix of designers including Dolce and Gabbana and Prada.
He has also included the floral, ornate Giambattista Valli Haute Couture mini-dress that the 36-year-old wore for her first appearance with George in Italy.
The infamous £450 Stella McCartney tailored, wide-leg trousers and a navy and cream top, also features in the set.
Another shot sees her in a vibrant red Alexander McQueen frock - the same designer that made the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress.
The eye-catching gown was adapted from a Resort 2011 collection design, which Michelle Obama wore to a state dinner in 2011.
The humorous images, which even feature Homer driving a boat, also feature George in a dapper black suit and open-collared shirt.
Alexsandro's previous work includes giving Kate Middleton and the Queen a similar makeover and recreating disabled Disney princesses to challenge the idea of the perfect woman on his blog Humor Chic.
