Listen up ladies! Beat VPL (that's visible panty line) with strapless, STICK-on knickers
THE latest barely-there underwear craze promises to eradicate women's lingerie woes...
We began questioning our underwear choices earlier this month when we were introduced to strapless underwear brand, Shibue Couture.
For those not in the know, the Shibue is a piece of fabric that twists under your private parts, and is held in place by washable and re-usable silicone gel on the front and back.
The aim is to leave a "clean, smooth silhouette" with no VPL (visible panty line).
It has already taken the US by storm, having barely covered the modesty of catwalk models in New York, Kate Upton and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as well as the cast of Fifty Shades Of Grey.
But Shibue aren't happy just entering our knicker drawers.
The creators want to start a lingerie revolution, encouraging women to wear the barely-there pants in the hope of banishing "unsightly underwear lines and bulges".
A spokesperson said, "It's one of the top fashion blunders and frankly not good on the peepers. We're asking everyone to get involved, stand united and direct ladies to the only place it can be erased."
The Shibue is safe enough to wear every day - if you dare - and it comes in a range of colours and patterns.
