However you need to be careful and do your research before hitting the high street. When looking for a product don’t spend a fortune just because it says stem cell on the label.
Always check to see what level of active ingredient is in the product. Stem cells should be listed first on the ingredients label.
If they appear near the bottom it indicates that the product contains only a tiny percentage, which means any anti-ageing benefits will be minimal.
There are many pioneering natural skincare brands to look out for.
I recommend Tromborg from top model Marianne Tromborg, Mychelle from America, Melvita from France and Russie Blanche from Russia.
Botaniques, a new skincare collection from British aromatherapist and acupuncturist Annee de Mamiel, contains a whole range of effective healing products.
If you want to take a more natural approach and add some flower power to your skincare regime read my guide below.

AT THE CLINIC
The Stem Cell facial which we offer at our London clinic is an ideal treat before a special event.
The treatment begins with a thorough cleanse and exfoliation before a plant stem cell mask is applied to rejuvenate and leave skin glowing.
While one treatment works as a boost a course of four to six once a month will tighten and improve skin tone.
The treatment takes one hour and costs £125 (020 7436 4441).
ON YOUR MARKS
It's estimated that about 80 per cent of the population has scars while more than 90 per cent of pregnant women end up with stretch marks. Both are notoriously difficult to treat.
However a new product Remescar is offering an innovative approach in dealing with these problems.
Simply apply the product, which comes in a stick or cream formulation, over the scar or stretch marks. This covers the area with an invisible layer of silicone that starts the healing process.
In clinical trials users who applied it twice a day said they noticed a 50 per cent reduction in the appearance of stretch marks in four weeks.
* Remescar Silicone Scar Stick, £19.95 and Remescar Silicone Scar Cream £24.95 (boots.com).
