Step 1
Place the card face down and draw around a side plate or saucer no larger than 15cm (6in) in diameter. Cut out a circle then cut that in half. Roll into a cone shape and secure with tape.
Step 2
Cut a 10cm (4in) piece of ribbon and secure to the top of the cone with tape to make a loop.
Step 3
Add a stick-on number and fill with a sweet. Repeat 23 times then hang from the branch.
Advent envelopes
You will need:
* Number stamps and red ink
* 24 Hobbycraft mini airmail envelopes
* 24 small manila envelopes
* Glue
* 24 chocolate coins
* Twine
* 24 mini pegs
* A 2-metre (6½-foot) length of red ribbon
Step 1
Number-stamp the mini airmail envelopes with the red ink from 1 to 24.
Then stick the mini airmail envelopes to the manila envelopes with a small blob of glue and allow to dry.
Step 2
Fill each of the envelopes with a chocolate coin and seal.
Step 3
Cut a 40cm (16in) length of twine and tie with a bow around each of the envelopes. Peg each envelope to the length of ribbon.
Mini Advent boxes
You will need:
* 24 Hobbycraft paper maché boxes (8 round boxes, 8 hexagonal and 8 square)
* 24 Advent treats A selection of ribbons (allow about 30cm/12in for each box)
* Sticky tape Stick-on numbers
* A large board Sellotape double-sided sticky fixers
Step 1
Fill the boxes with a treat and replace the lids. Cut a 15cm (6in) length of ribbon.
Step 2
Wrap the ribbon around the box and secure it at the back with sticky tape. Repeat this process so the ribbon forms a cross at the front of the box.
Step 3
Add the stick-on numbers to the boxes, 1 to 24. Repeat 23 times.
Attach the boxes to a board with Sellotape double-sided sticky fixers in a Christmas tree formation (use the photograph as a guide).
