TREATMENTS TESTED
Comfort Zone D-age cocoon firming and anti-ageing body treatment, 60 minutes, £70
Friendly staff, superb food and the range of spa treatments make this a lovely weekend
After a thorough body scrub which pleasantly doubled as an all-over massage, rich D-age body oil was massaged over my skin and I was wrapped in a plastic cocoon then covered in towels to keep me warm.
While the Indian kamani oil worked its way into my skin, I was treated to a relaxing head and foot massage. After being unwrapped, a rich body cream was massaged all over my body, leaving me feeling smooth and soft from head to toe as well as thoroughly pampered.
Comfort Zone Hydramemory collagen facial, 60 minutes, £70
My skin is particularly dry and dehydrated so my therapist went out of her way to treat my specific problems.
Using an ultra hydrating oil cleanser my face was cleansed thoroughly before a delicate chemical peel was applied.
While this worked to destroy any dead skin cells I had a relaxing head and shoulder massage.
Then a hydrating cream mask was applied. Once the mask was removed the therapist opted for the Hydramemory 24-hour cream to give my skin a final moisture boost before adding a dab of eye cream.
My face felt hydrated for days but I did get some spots the following week.
