Charlotte Tilbury gift set gives shoppers 3 lipsticks for less than £10 each
If you're struggling for a last-minute gift for the beauty lover in your life, Charlotte Tilbury could have the answer. The brand has a tempting range of gift sets on its website that would make fabulous stocking fillers, and the Hollywood Iconic Mini Lip Trio is one that caught my eye for its value for money and all-around versatility.
The travel-sized lip kit, according to the brand, is worth £45, yet retails for just £29. That means you get three lipsticks for just £10.60 eac,h which, considering Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks usually retail for around £29, is a pretty impressive saving.
The lipsticks are smaller than a full-size Charlotte Tilbury lipstick as they are travel-sized, so if you're after a larger lipstick, this might not be ideal. That said, it’s a great opportunity to try out a few new shades without committing to the full size.
The lipsticks come in three pinky nude tones, including 90s pink (a warm rose pink), rose to fame (a pale mauve) and icon baby (a warm nude-rose).
Although the Charlotte Tilbury website doesn't have any reviews, a John Lewis customer who purchased one of the lipsticks in the 90s pink shade said: "Very moisturising. Lasts all day. Gorgeous, universally neutral shade. Can't think of anyone it wouldn't suit."
The three lipsticks are then all presented in a limited-edition lip-shaped gift box, which is undeniably cute and a little bit quirky. The lipstick itself has an angled tip to help with precise application, said to mimic the shape of a lip brush. Charlotte Tilbury describes the formula as having a moisturising, satin-shine finish, and they also claim the pigment used helps to create the illusion of fuller lips.
A shopper said: "Super easy to wear every day and feels so smooth on the lips."
However, if you want to get it in time for Christmas, you'll need to act fast. Standard delivery takes between two and five business days, so today really is your last chance to order and ensure your gifts arrive in plenty of time for December 25.
