Roman's 'very flattering' floral summer dress 'feels elegant' and 'doesn't crease'

Warm weather means easy, throw-on-and-go dresses are essential for looking stylish while staying comfortable. Shoppers don't have to spend more than £40 to find a frock that ticks every box needed for summer styling at Roman - this Floral Front Twist Stretch Midi Dress comes in at £38.

There are five prints to choose from, but the navy with white detailing is a fan favourite as it is eye-catching, yet still understated enough to wear to work. Stocked in sizes 10 to 20, the v-neck midi dress has short sleeves and can be worn with sandals or heels. 

The design is fairly simple so will suit all kinds of figures and the subtle twist of fabric on the bodice creates a really flattering effect. Another dress with clever twisting on the bodice is the Alba Cotton Dress from Crew. It boasts summery blue and white stripes and it's currently on sale for £40, down from £89.

Roman shoppers have left several reviews on the website, stating feedback for the Floral Front Twist Stretch Midi Dress. One person wrote: "Very flattering dress, I love the colour and print, great length and it fits very well." 

A second shopper was so pleased with the style that they have bought several colourways. They said:"I already have two of this dress in different colours."

Another person highlights it is a great pick for taking on holiday as it doesn't need ironing. Their review noted: "Fit true to size fit for me, size 12. Nice flattering neckline and right length. Lovely pattern and nice fabric. Washed well, non iron. Took on holiday and no creases straight from suitcase. Pleased with it."

Echoing this point, someone else said: "Beautiful fitted dress, lovely silky material. Feels elegant. Ideal for holidays as it doesn't crease. Very pleased with it."

However, there are no petite sizes avalaible, which caused a problem for some. A customer wrote: "Midi dress but I'm 5' 2" and it reached my ankles. No petite option, so needed shortening."
