A woman in her 80s showed off her healthy-looking grey locks after trying out UKLASH's sell-out Hair Growth Serum.

Renowned for its top-selling Eyelash Serum, the beauty brand recently launched its first hair serum which aims to enhance hair growth and density, and 95% of customers claim the product helped to reduce hair loss.

The UKLASH Hair Growth Serum now boasts an upgraded formula that has been developed by biologists with a blend of effective ingredients including pea sprout extract, phytic acid and turmeric. It's best to use before styling - apply 3-5 drops of the serum daily to a clean, damp or dry scalp, then massage it and leave it dry.

In a video, the pensioner and her daughter both shared their thoughts on the new product and said they loved the lightweight, non-greasy texture.

"My mum is in her 80s and her hairdresser literally can't believe how much [hair] she'd grown and they look so healthy. I've always had fine, dull hair but it's even worse after menopause. Now my hair is looking better than before, it has weight and gloss that it was never there before," she shared.

The product was so popular that it sold out in four days but it's now back in stock. Some lucky customers were given the hair serum to test and the results were out of their expectations.

One said: "I lost my hair during chemo. I started using the hair serum as soon as I got the all clear. In 5 weeks my hair had thickened up beautifully as it was quite a lot thinner on the top, but now it's thick all over. I'm looking forward to seeing my hair grow over the coming months and will continue to use the serum."

Another suffered hair thinning during her pregnancy and struggled to grow her hair back but she found UKLASH Hair Serum worked a miracle on her, explaining: "I've tried everything. Gummies, rosemary oil, different shampoos, different brushes, not washing as much, different hair dressers etc etc.

"Now here I am after 3 months of using the serum every other day, I double the amount of my hair, it grew ever so long, is healthy, thick and shiny. I love it and can't wait to see what it'll look like in a year's time."

One woman said she's "yet to see any difference" after using it for eight weeks but is happy to give it more time as she said: "I have been pleased with the results of the eyelash serum, so will keep going as it may be early days."

Another tried it on her husband's scalp and was pleased to say "his bald spot was no more".

Trichologist and brand ambassador Hannah Gaboardi said: "The rate at which hair grows varies from person to person and can be influenced by various factors, including genetics, age, health, and hormonal fluctuations. On average, hair grows about half an inch (1.25 centimetres) per month, or approximately 6 inches (15 centimetres) per year. However, individual growth rates may be faster or slower than this average."

Elsewhere, Australian beauty brand Vida Glow launched a nutrient-packed hair supplement, Hairology, which is designed to work internally to replenish hair health and optimise the environment necessary for hair to grow and thrive. Face the Future offers a 25% off on the Hairology Kit and you can get a Detangle Paddle Brush and the hair supplement for £33.75.

Retired actress Georgia Zaris shared she used Hair Gain hair mask (£25.60, was £32) to fight against receding hairline and dry locks. The organic pea shoot extract and the exlcusive cosmetic ingredient, AnaGain, work to stimulate the hair follicles and reactivate hair growth.
