MacBook Pro 2016 Black Friday discount - how to get money off Apple's latest laptop
JOHN LEWIS drops the price of Apple's new MacBook Pro and there's even money off the latest Touch Bar model.
MacBook Pro 2016 deals
After months of rumours and leaks, Apple finally revealed its all-new MacBook Pro at a major event last month.
Along with a brighter display, faster processor and thinner design this new laptop also includes a radical multi-touch screen called the Touch Bar.
This Retina touchscreen sits at the top of the keyboard and adapts to whatever app is currently on-screen.
For example, loading the Safari web browser triggers the Touch Bar to summon a slew of helpful shortcuts, including on-screen buttons to load new tabs, search the page, or refresh the page.
The new MacBook Pro is also the first Apple laptop to ship with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, which made its debut on the iPhone back in September 2013.
Sadly, these new MacBooks don't come cheap, with prices for the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar starting from £1,749.
If you fancy buying one of these hi-tech portable PCs there is some good news.
John Lewis has just slashed prices on the full range of MacBooks including the new Pro and older MacBook Air.
This means you can now pick up the 2016 MacBook Pro for just £1,349 and you can also grab last year's Pro for £1,149.
