MICROSOFT has finally confirmed how much it will charge PC owners to upgrade to Windows 10 when its year-long free upgrade promotion ends on July 29th 2016.

Microsoft has revealed how much Windows 10 will cost when its free upgrade promotion ends on July 29th 2016.
Since the launch of Windows 10 last year, Microsoft has offered customers running genuine copies of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 the chance to upgrade to the latest operating system for free.
Time is running out
At times, the US technology firm has been comically forceful with its prompts to get people to upgrade their machines to Windows 10.
"Time is running out," announced Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President for Windows and Devices Group.
"The free upgrade offer will end on July 29th and we want to make sure you don’t miss out."
Those who upgrade now will get the latest updates for free, including the upcoming Anniversary Update.
This blockbuster update is scheduled for release this summer and will include a redesigned Start Menu and new handwriting recognition software.
