Amazon's iPad Pro rival get its price slashed to £101 in major refurbished deal

Amazon has cut the price on one of its best tablets right now down to a price that might be too good to miss out on.

That's because it has launched the Fire Max 11 tablet for £101 - down from the usual price of £224.99. The only catch is that the tablet is refurbished if you were expecting to get it brand new. But like many things we recommend, refurbished products are a way to get a good deal without missing out on anything - and this tablet is no exception.

Amazon has assured that the tablets have been tried and tested as well as updated during its process so you can be assured you'll get a quality product. Amazon also allows you to return it if you're not happy.

It comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and 14-hours of battery life included with the tablet. Another thing you'll want to consider is this tablet comes with ads, meaning you'll get  sponsored screensavers on your device's lock screen and in sleep mode. 

Reviewers also love the tablet. One reviewer said: "Responsive screen, great battery life, high quality display, excellent WIFI reception which is excellent online browsing or streaming and great sound. The pen adds even more options to an already feature packed device. Grab one guys, you won't be disappointed."

However, some people have complained about the lack of app compatibility. One reviewer said: "The biggest issue is the lack of Google play. Not all the Amazon apps are as good as the actual android apps in the Google play store. You also have some key ones missing - such as popular mobile games, a proper YouTube app, Facebook messenger etc.

"You can install Google play store unofficially (plenty of websites explaining how)... But not all apps will work or not work properly."
