If you have been looking for a good mobile phone deal recently but don't want to pay over-the-odds for a new device - Carphone Warehouse might have some offers on the Pixel 8a worth consider.

The brand new midrange phone may have been out for a few weeks but there's already some stellar deals for the device. Carphone Warehouse currently has contract bundles where you can pay only £17.99 a month.

The best deal that we have found is the Google Pixel 8a for £17.99 a month where you'll get 100gb of data, unlimited minutes and texts but there is an upfront cost of £69.99. The good news is that you get free Google Pixel Buds Pro included in the offer which are worth £199.

Overall, you'll pay slightly over £500 in total for a 24-month contract but you'll get some stunning earbuds included, a good data plan and a phone for the same price as buying the phone outright!

That's not all because there are some other deals including the £17.99 a month deal with a £9 upfront cost. You'll get the same data and minutes but you'll get the Google Pixel Buds A which are worth £109.

Carphone Warehouse have some brilliant deals on the Google Pixel 8a.

For just £17.99 a month, you can get free earbuds, a great data plan and an affordable and powerful phone from Google without paying over the odds.

You'll pay just over £441 for the contract which is an even better price if you don't mind having slightly worse earbuds.

We gave the Google Pixel 8a four out of five stars in our review and praised its performance, coupled with its affordable price. If you want a new Android phone and don’t want to spend the earth, the Pixel 8a is a great choice.

Unlike the glass £699 Pixel 8 and £999 Pixel 8 Pro, the 8a has a plastic back, but I prefer it. Its matt finish hides fingerprints completely and is less likely to smash or crack if dropped.

In terms of camera, colours are well represented and images are sharp with a good deal of dynamic range. There’s also an ultrawide camera that’s not as amazing, but will suit for when you want to squeeze more into the frame.

It’s great to see the phone is also powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chip. While it’s not the most powerful Android processor out there, it is the same one you’ll find in the other Pixel 8 phones, so getting it here for half the price of the Pixel 8 Pro is a boon.
