New Samsung Galaxy budget phone could have premium flagship feature
SAMSUNG fans thinking about buying a new Galaxy handset may want to hold off a little longer. That's because the tech giant's next budget Galaxy phone may offer a flagship-level feature at an affordable price.
Samsung is gearing up to launch another budget Galaxy smartphone with some impressive specs under the bonnet. The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is tipped to launch in India later this month. In the run-up to the launch, plenty of leaks have emerged about the next Galaxy device.
And from the looks of it, the Galaxy M52 5G could boast one flagship-level feature at a price that won't break the bank. According to Android Authority, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will boast a 120Hz AMOLED display.
This high refresh rate is typically found on more pricer flagships. To put this in perspective, with the upcoming slate of new iPhone models, a 120Hz refresh rate display is only rumoured to be included on the pricier Pro models.
Last year's iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max, which start from £999 and £1,099 respectively, didn't feature 120Hz refresh rate either.

Besides this flagship feature, the Galaxy M52 is also expected to boast other premium additions. The upcoming budget phone is rumoured to be fitted with a triple rear camera, have support for superfast 5G mobile downloads, and a generous 6.7-inch sized screen.
Samsung has for some time been adding flagship-style features to its lower priced handsets, with the A52 5G also boasting a 120Hz screen.
But, the M52 5G might end up being Samsung's cheapest phone to date that features this super fast refresh rate. The M51 launched in India priced at around £251. Its successor does have more impressive specs, so it may be priced closer to the A52 which launched in the region for around £294.
Even factoring in a slight price increase to account for the specs upgrade, the M52 5G could still end up being the cheapest Samsung 120Hz phone to date.
The leaked M52 specs first appeared thanks to tipster Ishan Agarwal and mysmartprice.com.
In terms of the device's other specs, the handset is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip and feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. Although, this can be upgraded to up to 1TB via a microSD slot.
The M52 5G also reportedly has a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch hole in the centre for the selfie camera.
If you can't wait for the M52 to wing its way to our shores then you can still make a big saving on Samsung Galaxy devices, thanks to a range of offers Three is running right now.
Across the Samsung Galaxy S21 range Three is throwing in freebies worth almost £300 in total.
The freebies for the S21 include a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro as well as four months worth of access to YouTube Premium.
While on the recently released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 Three is offering half priced line rental for six months.
Savings can also be had on the Samsung Galaxy A52s handset at Three, with a free pair of Galaxy Buds Live thrown in for good measure.
