The pictures were taken by urban explorer Roman, 29, who discovered the abandoned living rooms in houses, farms, villas and castles on trips around Europe.
Roman, from the Netherlands, said: "Many of these locations have been abandoned for many years - decay is kicking in, which I love to capture with my camera.
"There are holes in the floors and ceilings, dust everywhere and a lot of objects left behind - most of these places still have furniture inside, which is lovely to see.

"It's fascinating to see real life from the past, and I'm glad I can share it through my photos.
"I like to stand in the room, in complete silence, and take a good look around me - 'feeling' the room and the emotions.
