Time is running out to shop Dunelm's up to 50% off sale – everything I'd buy today

It’s the time of year that always gets me thinking about brightening up my home and bringing a little bit of the outside indoors. If you’re not quite ready to crack open a tin of paint or dive headfirst into a full redecoration, a new piece of furniture can work wonders. It’s one of the quickest, easiest ways to give your space a fresh feel without the upheaval.

For me, it’s all about a statement piece—something that draws the eye and adds a splash of colour. Rugs, vases and accessories are perfect if you like to switch things up with the seasons, while larger pieces, like a statement chair, are ideal as longer-term investments that add something fun. The brand hasn’t confirmed which discounts might stick around and which pieces will quietly return to full price, so if something’s already on your radar, now might just be the moment to go for it.

It also comes in a 200cm x 290cm (6.5ft x 9.5ft) option, previously priced at £399 and now available for £199.90, saving almost £200.

Made from 100% wool, the rug features a beautifully painted floral design that brings a soft, artistic feel to any space. The wool loop pile adds texture and warmth underfoot, making it as cosy as it is elegant. Dunelm recommends placing an anti-slip mat beneath the rug to help prevent any slipping.

What stands out to me is the handy compartment behind the mesh-fronted door—ideal for tucking away books or other bedside essentials while still keeping everything within easy reach.

Although it’s designed as a bedside table, measuring 55.7cm x 38cm x 38cm, it would work just as well next to a sofa in the living room, with enough surface space for a lamp.

With its modern industrial feel and durable metal construction, it’s built to be strong and long-lasting, and it has adjustable legs help keep things steady even on uneven floors.

That said, some shoppers have mentioned that assembly can be a little tricky. One reviewer noted: "Looks really good when assembled. As others have said pain to put together but was easy enough to figure out with an electric drill."

Floral Pinsonic Bedspread – now £14

A bedspread is one of the simplest ways to introduce a pop of colour without completely revamping your room, and this earthy green bedspread feels like a perfect nod to the season. Green is just honestly where I guide people to go towards."

If you’re after a finishing touch that still makes a statement, this wall mirror adds a lovely pop of colour with its green glass frame. The softly curved corners give it a slightly Art Deco feel, adding a bit of character without overwhelming the space. Measuring 60cm x H 60cm x D 1.8cm, it’s on the smaller side, but would be nice in a hallway for those last-minute checks before heading out, or above a dressing table.

As part of the sale, it’s reduced from £50 to £35.
