Amazon and Shark's number one vacuum has 'incredible suction' and £100 off

Shoppers have been praising a best-selling vacuum cleaner for its ‘incredible suction’. The particular model is on sale at Amazon, where there’s £100 off the Shark Classic Upright Pet Vacuum.
Usually priced at £229.99, it’s currently reduced to £129.99. This represents a saving of 43% that beats Shark’s own £149.99 price tag.
This model is also the number-one best-selling vacuum cleaner at Amazon, beating rivals from Vax and Hoover. Shark says its Classic vacuum is the lightest corded upright with a liftaway feature, with its detachable canister transforming into a lightweight and portable vacuum.
This makes it easier to clean the stairs, sofas and hard-to-reach high areas. This model is also perfect for homes with pets, as it comes with a pet tool designed with a bristle brush that removes embedded hair from carpets and upholstery.
The Shark Classic can be easily switched between hard floor and carpet modes at the touch of a button, and features LED headlights to illuminate fine dust and dirt. The vacuum cleaner boasts an 8m power cord and swivel steering so it’s easy to manoeuvre around furniture, with Shark claiming its anti-allergen seal captures and traps 99.9% of dust and allergens.
The Shark is a more affordable alternative to rival models such as Dyson’s V8 Absolute vacuum at £249.99 (was £399.99). However, this cordless model offers more flexibility with a 40-minute run time and an anti-hair tangle feature.
Despite its higher price, the Dyson has been awarded a 4.4-star rating, compared to the 4.6-star rating of Shark’s Classic Upright Pet Vacuum. The Shark has received more than 15,000 five-star ratings from Amazon customers.
One shopper said: “Absolutely amazing. It whizzes around my place quickly, the tilting aspect makes gliding around furniture easy, and the strong suction mode almost lifts up my carpet, it’s that good. Emptying it is simple, and it is by far the best I’ve used.”

Another said: “Incredible suction, lightweight and simple to use. Picks up as much dust as my £300 Shark but is so much lighter, so ideal for anyone with mobility or dexterity issues who struggles with heavier vacuum cleaners. Sucked so much dust out of my carpet and yet it had been vacuumed earlier today.”
Despite their glowing review, the same buyer added: “A little on the flimsy plastic side in places but for £130 you can’t complain at all.”
While this five-star review says: “The Shark outperforms Dyson, with much stronger suction. I love the two LED lights, they help when finding the dust. Easy to empty, and the detachable pet accessory is brilliant, so powerful when full suction is enabled. Great value, excellent machine.”
