Amazon beats Ninja as Crispi air fryer falls to new low price – but it's 'selling fast'

Amazon has beaten Ninja by reducing a popular air fryer to a record low price. The retail giant has just dropped the Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer from £149.99 to £99, but it’s flagged as ‘selling fast’.
The deal undercuts Ninja’s own price tag of £129.99 for the same model and colourway. It’s also the air fryer’s cheapest price ever, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel.
The CRISPi first hit the shelves last year as a versatile and more portable addition to Ninja’s air fryer range. It’s designed with four cooking functions – air fry, roast, reheat and keep warm – allowing it to cook a range of meals.
Ninja claims it can cook anything from frozen meals to yesterday’s leftovers and some in less than 15 minutes. It also touts the device as having an ‘ultra-portable’ and ‘space-saving’ design, which means it can be used for heating food on-the-go, such as at work, school or university.
It’s also compact enough that it won’t take up too much space in the kitchen. The Ninja CRISPi comes with two glass containers with capacities of 1.4L and 3.8L that double up as serving bowls, both of which are non-stick and dishwasher safe.

Shoppers will also receive two non-stick crisper plates and storage lids, as well as Ninja’s ‘PowerPod’ adapter. Those preferring a dual-drawer air fryer can find options like the Homcom Dual Zone Air Fryer for £74.99 at Yimbly, while Argos offers the Tefal Easy Fry Dual XXL Air Fryer for £119.
But the Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer has been a hit with Amazon customers, achieving a 4.5-star rating after almost 1,000 reviews. It’s also sole more than 1,000 units in the past month, according to Amazon.
One satisfied shopper said: “Best thing ever. I haven’t used the oven since I bought it. So easy to use and everything is so quick to cook. Love that, unlike a normal air fryer, you can see how the food is doing during cooking, so can turn off if you think it’s ready.”
Another said: “Really impressed. The Ninja air fryer is excellent quality and feels very sturdy. Cleaning is simple since the parts are dishwasher safe and the lid and base doesn’t heat the table or countertop. Food comes out perfectly cooked. It exceeded my expectations. Perfect for roast potatoes, fish fingers, fries, or a quick chicken meal.”
This buyer noted a potential downside, saying: “Only inconvenient thing is that you can’t change the temperature. It’s all pre-set. Otherwise a good little air fryer.”
While this five-star review says: “What a gem this is. I love the glass compartment and with a smaller one that allows you to cook and store food afterwards, superb. This will handle most recipes really well. It’s quick, clean, healthy and excellent quality.”
