The easy and affordable home trend said to improve 'comfort and relaxation'
This home trend is achievable for anyone and it could even make you feel better.

This home trend is one that can have major benefits for your bedroom, making you feel more relaxed and comfortable. As summer approaches, with the change of season often comes a desire to change things around at home. It’s the perfect time to refresh your interiors.
Wren Bedrooms has revealed what’s next in bedroom design, drawing on TikTok, Pinterest and Google trends to show how the space is evolving for 2025. Minimalism and multifunctionality are the top priorities which can improve your health and wellbeing.

Joanne Dodsworth, Head of Bedrooms at Wren, has shared her expert insight into the trends shaping the modern bedroom, including smart storage, sensory lighting, and sleep enhancing accessories.
Multipurpose furniture is a popular desire, as many invest in practical bedroom solutions, the research shows.
As for colour schemes, green tones are set to dominate interior decor in 2025, especially in bedrooms.
In 2025, bedrooms not only as a place to sleep but also as a personal space focused on "comfort and relaxation", say Wren.
The research highlights growing interest in clean design, calming colour schemes, and functional, streamlined layouts.
Joanna Dodsworth says: “Modern bedrooms are shaped by mood as much as style. There’s a clear shift away from clutter and toward spaces that support well-being.”
Calm minimalism is a trend that is sweeping across bedrooms with a desire to enhance feelings of calmness and relaxation.

Japandi, the meeting point between Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian calm, is proving to be the defining aesthetic of the moment.
Pinterest searches for “Japandi homes” have surged by over 300%. This style champions natural textures, low-slung furniture, clean lines, and a muted colour palette of beige, stone, charcoal, and wood tones.
“Japandi is all about intentional living,” explains Joanne. “Every item in the room serves a purpose. It’s not about filling space but about curating it for peace of mind.”
You can incorporate this into your bedroom by using soft linen bedding, timber details, and a ‘less but better’ approach to accessories.
But not only this, nature is still one of the biggest design influences, the biophilic trend (design that connects us to nature) is showing no signs of slowing down, with Google searches nearing 10,000 a month.
This growing trend isn’t just about a few houseplants. The biophilic bedroom embraces organic curves like rounded headboards and pebble-shaped mirrors, rich earth tones, textured fabrics like bouclé or wool, and an emphasis on light.
“Curved shapes convey a softer, more welcoming feel. We’re shifting away from hard, angular edges, which can come across as rigid or cold. The goal is to design a space that feels more organic,” says Joanne.
You can embrace this trend by opting for floor-length curtains in natural linen, sculptural wooden side tables, and low-maintenance greenery like eucalyptus or rubber plants.
If you’re looking to bring a new style to your home, following the minimalist trend could be an exciting new style to introduce into your home.
