For households looking to purchase a new barbecue to cook up a storm this summer, Ninja has slashed the price of its Woodfire Pro XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker. The 4-in-1 appliance that can also be used to grill, smoke and air fry usually costs £399.99, but the retailer is offering a £50 discount for a limited time, bringing the price down to £349.99. Ideal for gardens, patios, campsites, balconies and more, the weather-resistant electric barbecue doesn't require any charcoal, gas or flames.

The BBQ burns natural wood pellets for 'authentic smoky flavours' and offers '30% more cooking capacity', fitting up to 10 burgers, six steaks or two whole 3kg chickens. It uses a Smart Cook System that monitors food temperature as it cooks, producing 'perfectly cooked meat and fish'. This feature also allows steak lovers to choose their desired finish, from rare to well done.

Shoppers can save £50 on the Ninja Woodfire Pro XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker.

The Ninja barbecue also has a handy built-in probe, taking out the guesswork and providing peace of mind. The BBQ comes with everything needed to start cooking right away, including two Woodfire Pellet Starter Packs, a pellet scoop, crisper basket, and a recipe guide.

Argos is selling a similar Weber Lumin Compact Electric BBQ for £369. This option can be used to sear, steam, smoke, defrost, and keep food warm, however it does not offer an air fryer function.

For shoppers wanting a more budget-friendly electric barbecue, the Tower Standing Outdoor/Indoor Electric BBQ Grill costs £89.99 at Amazon. This simpler appliance can be used as a barbecue outdoors, or the grill can be removed and taken indoors.

Over 100 Ninja customers have reviewed the Woodfire Pro XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker to date, awarding it an impressive overall rating of 4.8 out of five. One satisfied buyer wrote: "Great grill. Used it three times already this week and every time the food was perfect. Easy to use and very easy to clean."

A second delighted shopper commented: "We have had many BBQs over the years, gas and charcoal. This by far is the best BBQ we have ever had. It looks smart and it’s easy to clean. Love the smoker aspect. Large enough too. We also bought the cover and the rib rack, which I would also recommend. Brilliant."

"Looks good and works brilliantly," said another happy shopper. "Great bit of kit. So many functions. Easy guide on how to use it with nice recipe suggestions. Looks smart on our balcony. Have already used it for air frying and grilling, looking forward to trying out all the functions."

Unfortunately, one buyer was left disappointed with the Ninja barbecue, as they explained: "I got this mainly as a BBQ smoker and on its maiden voyage, it kept tripping out on the smoker [setting]. It seems it's a problem others have had, so I'm hoping to return and try a new machine, as when it's not on smoker it works, but that's not what I wanted."

However, someone else left a glowing five-star review which reads: "Excellent product, using it to BBQ, grill and air fry. Used to cook two roast chickens simultaneously to provide for a group of 10 adults, easy to clean and used the next day for sausages and bacon for breakfast. Highly recommend."
