You can get Ninja's best-selling air fryer for up to £70 cheaper right now – but be quick
You’ve probably heard of Ninja for its air fryer range and rave reviews online (though it does sell a host of other appliances). One of the best-selling air fryers in the Ninja range is the Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer, and right now, you can get it for a cut of the usual price.
The brand’s air fryers usually come at a cost, but the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer, in the white colourway, has now dropped from £249.99 to £179.99 on the Ninja website. However, we've found an even cheaper option. On Amazon, the 9.5L air fryer has been reduced even further, to £169.99. But, as is the case with most deals (especially on Amazon where prices fluctuate frequently) we don't know how long this discounted price will be around.
The white colour is also available at Currys for £179.99.
Although unlikely to replace your oven, the cooking devices can be used to cook entire meals or simply as an extension of the oven when you’re hosting or need to feed more people. Ninja claims that it can help save as much as 65% on your oven energy bill – which is welcome news given the latest price cap announcement. However, how much money you can save depends on how often you use your oven and what kind of things you cook.
In a trial, Ninja compared the cooking time using the Ninja Foodi MAX air fryer and a traditional fan oven and found that it was 65% cheaper to cook sausages in the air fryer. Similarly, when trialling cooking fish fingers and sausages in both a fan oven and air fryer, they found the cooking time was as much as 75% faster when using the air fryer. However, whether this reduced energy bills remained unclear. However, the speedy cooking times alone are enough to convince some households to use the air fryer more often than their oven.
In fact, the popularity of air fryers has risen so much in recent years that now many supermarkets include air fryer cooking instructions on the back of food packaging.
The white version of the Foodi Max is a newer addition to Ninja’s range and could be a great option if you’re bored of the usual grey and black appliances.
Although I don't own a Ninja, I do own an air fryer and can attest to just how helpful it is in my daily life. I particularly like it for cooking meat like chicken thighs, which go crispy without drying out, as well as chips and wedges. Typically, it's much quicker to use the air fryer, and it stops leftovers from going soggy.
My air fryer is smaller and only has one compartment, so the dual-drawer design of the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer would be useful.
Not everyone has endless counter space, and for smaller kitchens, the Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer offers the benefit of separate drawers without the wide size. It's slimmer but still has the same cooking capacity as the original dual-drawer air fryer, and the included deal racks split up the space even further.
The air fryer isn't Ninja's most expensive, but it is an investment. However, it is currently reduced from £269.99 to £198 on Amazon.
